Plant & Machinery: Gate Logistics Coordinator
Office based (Madley, HR2 9NH)
Duties include:
The Job
• Meet and greet all customers and contractors operating on site
• Allow access and egress for all site traffic movements
• Ensure the correct lots are leaving site
• Work with busy office and yard teams to ensure the level of traffic entering and leaving site complies with our site risk assessments
• Direct customers and contractors into the yard to be loaded or unloaded by yard staff
• Assist with amending the on/off-site status of records on the stock management system
• Hand out PPE to be worn on site and ensure visitors are briefed on site Health & Safety rulesThe Person
• This role reports to the Site Manager and will be the first and last point of contact for all visitors, customers and contractors
• The successful candidate will be a friendly face on site and will be there to help customers, contractors and colleagues
• There will be times when high levels of traffic are present, so it is important to know when to seek assistance from the wider team
• The role may involve assisting with office-based administration tasks from time to time
• The position involves moving between inside the office and outside, using a computer and meeting people at their vehicles in all weathersThe Requirements
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor

• Confidence to engage with a broad range of customers
• Basic level of IT competency
• A genuine commitment to teamwork
• High work ethic
• Experience with telehandlers would be an advantage
• Knowledge of plant and machinery would be an advantage

Vehicle Valeter / Yard Operative

Duties include:
Brightwells Auctions is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organised Vehicle Valeter / Yard Operative to join our busy Vehicle Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, cleaning, and preparing a wide range of vehicles for auction sale, ensuring they are presented to a high standard while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
• Wash, clean, and valet vehicles to a high standard.
• Prepare vehicles for photography, customer viewing, and auction sale.
• Move and park vehicles safely around the site.
• Carry out basic vehicle condition checks and report any damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.
• Work in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.What we are looking for
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Organised, reliable, and hardworking.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
