Late 200 Tdi-powered seven-seat Auto Disco; Conran designed
interior; in regular use; 168k miles; solid workhorse; lots to like; loads of
history; nice and original
Supplied by Hartwells in Oxford, this
last of the line 200 Tdi Discovery Series 1 retains its inspired Jasper
Conran-designed interior which has worn extremely well. It has 168,000
miles on the clock and was ordered as an auto (unusual) with optional
handling pack - front and rear anti-roll bars which later were
standardised.
It is nicely original, wearing its first coat of paint
which has worn thin in places and shows lacquer peel here and there too, but
still looks good.
An instant starter, it goes surprisingly well and
is MOT until March 2025 with only a few minor advisories.
There is
masses of service history showing it has been well maintained during
its life and it comes with the bookpack showing 15 older stamps,
invoices, 27 old MOTs and two keys and key codes etc.
The V5c shows just
three previous keepers, it's current having used it regularly.
Driven to the sale, we have all been loving its
avante-garde and clever styling since its arrival onsite.
