Description
A very smart Convertible; restored and sourced through Charles Ware;
subtle upgrades; a much loved Moggy.....
This splendid Morris has
been with our lady vendor since 2012, has been much loved and well-travelled,
including trips abroad with friends.
She acquired it through Charles
Ware's Morris Minor Centre, built to her specific requirements which included
£3,500 of extras. These included a brake servo, halogen headlights, electronic
ignition, a battery cutoff switch, CD player, classic mirrors, front and rear
inertia reel seatbelts, hazard lights, rear fog and reversing lights, dual oil
pressure and water temperature gauges, a 12v socket, hoodbag, luggage rack and
very smart and comfy Series III front seats with headrests.
Finished in
Smoke grey, it was professionally converted from a saloon by the Morris Minor
Centre, work which was very nicely executed and incorporates the correct gussets
etc on the body. The hood is a particularly snug fit and remains is super
order. It has been extensively waxoiled too which helps explain the very sound
condition of the bodywork.
It has been in regular use since acquisition
and always MOT'd, its current test expiring in May 2025 which shows no
advisories. Invoices on file also show regular servicing and maintenance. It has
been an instant starter and has been running and driving very nicely since
arrival onsite, having been driven some 35 miles to the sale.
On offer at
a fraction of the cost of a factory convertible, it is one of the nicest we have
offered, will make someone very happy and is only on offer due to declining
health.
