Description
Handsome Bullnose Two Seater with rear Dickie seat on offer from
a deceased estate; regularly used prior to being laid up in
2022
Dating from May 1926 this rather attractive Bullnose comes to us
unfortunately from a deceased estate, but was regularly enjoyed by the owner
before his death in 2022 following acquisition in
2007.
Finished in dark Blue, with
black arches and running boards the car is a real eyeful with discreet rear
Dickie seat for a couple of smaller rear passengers. A useful Mohair hood and
handsome brass radiator are up front and we can also confirm the super old horn
works a treat.
Under the bonnet, we find a
four-cylinder petrol engine (V5C states 1695cc, we believe this is incorrect and
should be 1802cc) driving the rear wheels via 3-speed manual with
reverse.
The history file includes the
V5C and old V5C (husband and wife being the current and last owner), 4 old MOTs
and a purchase invoice for joint purchase of this car and a 1924 Bentley 3 Litre
in February 2007 for some £92,500 along with a couple of
photos.
Believed to be relatively
ready to enjoy, but likely to benefit from a check over having been stood unused
for the last couple of years it’s a handsome steed with many years of enjoyment
ahead.
