Rover to Twisted, the well regarded bespoke Land Rover creators, this Defender
90 XS is finished in Santorini Black and sits on a set of equally black 20”
Eltex alloy wheels with hub adaptors with Twisted’s Bilstein shock and steering
damper package.
The full Twisted spec is
detailed within the file and the vehicle looks to have cost the original owner
some £45,213 which included c.£22,000 worth of Twisted
extras.
The factory XS spec includes AC, remote
alarm and central locking, electric front windows, heated front windscreen and
front seats, ABS/Traction control, adjustable head lights and Tubular XS side
rails.
The Twisted spec added the following
enhancements: Twisted P4 performance upgrade to the 2.2 litre turbo-diesel
engine; Bilstein shocks; KBX Java front grill and side vents; painted rear
cross-member and mirrors; crystal headlights and stainless bezels; stainless
steel A2 exterior fittings; tow ball and electrics; LED 95mm stop and tail
lights; Twisted steering guard; spray protection to the chassis; privacy glass;
speaker upgrade; 350mm Momo steering wheel; leather dash tops and grab handles;
build plaque; Exmoor Trim Barley leather modular seats; Alpine media set
up.
The truck looks and goes well and
will be as at home in Chelsea as it is in rural Herefordshire. It has
been with its current business owner since September 2015.
The history file includes the V5C showing 1 former keeper
(current business ownership since September 2015), an old V5C, Owner's
pack with manuals, Warranty info and Online service history booklet
and older print-out showing two early visits, Twisted
spec/invoice, numerous old MOTs and a selection of bills for routine
maintenance along with the current MOT valid until February 2024 with no
advisories recorded.
Bills on file date back to
its early days and include a service in 2021 at 101,745 miles costing £939 which
included replacement door locks, solenoid, wiper motor, a washer jet and central
locking actuator along with a routine service.
A new turbo, exhaust
manifold and engine control module were also fitted in July 2018 costing some
£3,167 at 62,369 miles.
Ready to be
enjoyed, this is a cool and desirable take on the ever popular Defender by a
well regarded name in the business.
