Only 3,000 miles on
rebuilt engine; new clutch, front shocks and two new tyres; resprayed in 2013;
fresh MOT; from 15-year ownership; ready for the summer ahead
First
registered in April 1972, this T2 has been in the good care of the current
lady owner since 2010 and has seen substantial expenditure during this time to
keep it in tip top order. It is only up for auction because our vendor
now needs a campervan with power steering and has just bought a
T5.
As you can see in the photos, it looks to be in great shape. No
surprise as this camper was treated to a full respray in 2013 along with a few
welding repairs and quite a few new panels including the sliding door
quarter panels, front wheel arches and a few bits more, all work
being carried out by SS Auto Body Repairs in
Ludlow.
Coming with a good sized
history file including invoices for the respray, we also have an invoice
from Patrick Briscoe Service and Repair Centre in Leominster for an engine
rebuild in February 2019, with a new cylinder head barrel and piston set,
new exhaust, heat exchanger and much more. It has only done some
3,000 miles since, the odometer currently showing 62,500
miles.
Most recently this camper
received new front shock absorbers, a wheel cylinder and a new clutch along with
a few other bits and bobs in April 2024. Coming straight to us from its MOT
where two new tyres were fitted (to address the two MOT advisories) it is ready
for new adventures.
Starting promptly, running and
driving nicely on site, this lovely T2 is ready to be enjoyed for the coming
summer months.
