Just 36k miles from new; 15 services; three owners, the current since

Supplied new by
Rycroft Mercedes of Teesside in March 1999, this SL320 has covered only 36,040
miles and comes with an excellent service history comprising 12 stamps in the
book, the last in April 2018 at 30,395 miles. There are also invoices for three
more services since, the last in September 2025 at 35,974 miles (see
photos). That equates to an average service interval of just 2,400 miles –
pretty impressive by any standards.
There are
also various supporting invoices plus others for new parts fitted, including new
front brake discs and pads in November 2013 at 23,911 miles. Although there is
no invoice, it has also just had two new exhaust cats as these were the only
advisory on the most recent MOT in September 2025.
Finished in attractive Zircon Green, it has had just three owners to
date, the current lady owner since March 2014. Costing £65,000 new, which
included £7,000 of extras, it has lots of choice options. Highlights include:
Panoramic glass roof (£2,600); Exclusive Leather Interior (£2,831); electric
memory seats; wood and leather steering wheel; walnut gearshift and walnut trim.

an MOT until September 2026 with just one advisory for the exhaust rattle (since
fixed). It has been starting promptly and running sweetly as we have moved it
around on site, with that epic ‘hewn from granite’ build quality that is the
hallmark of the R129 Series. The hydraulically operated soft top works as
it should and looks virtually unused (see video).
As you can see in the photos, this car is in great shape for a
27-year-old and is a very rare find with such a low mileage. We like it a lot
