preserved 1959 Ford Zephyr Mk2, showing 64,390 miles and powered by the
desirable 2,600cc engine.
Imported from South Africa in June 2023, this
highly distinctive example has since had just one former keeper in the UK and
presents a rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally solid and original
British classic.
Prepared and enjoyed as a
replica police car, this Zephyr has been a regular and much-admired participant
at prestigious events including the Goodwood Revival, along with numerous
classic car shows across the country. Wherever it has appeared, it has
attracted considerable attention and admiration, proving to be a genuine
crowd-pleaser.
The current vendor notes that changing circumstances mean
the car is no longer receiving the use it deserves and would like to see it
passed on to an enthusiast who will continue to enjoy and showcase
it.

Africa's favourable climate before its importation to the UK, the car remains

carries no advisories. The previous MOT in 2025 recorded a single advisory
relating to a slightly deteriorated offside brake pipe, which has since been
replaced. The car has also been fitted with new tyres, further enhancing its
